Solar Sludge Drying Plants
Solar Sludge Drying Technology reduces sludge in mass and volume using renewable solar energy. Solar energy is an unlimited and natural source for evaporating water. Normally, 720 kW thermal energy is required to evaporate 1000 liters of water, but we reduces this requirement to 30-40 kWh of electrical energy.
Its main equipment consists of a moving steel bridge and an adjustable rotary drum. During the drying process, the moist sludge layer is kept on top for continuous evaporation and ventilation is provided to prevent bad odors. The sludge is transported and distributed evenly throughout the drying hall. The entire facility is automatically controlled by PLC and the daily personnel requirement is limited to 20-30 minutes. This increases operational efficiency and reduces labor and costs.
Advantages:
It does not require additional energy source.
It provides high work safety without the need for a constant operator.
Disadvantages:
There is a need for land.
This technology from our offers an efficient and economical solution for post-dewatering sludge disposal, supporting environmental sustainability while building modern facilities.
