Grit Scraper
Grit Scrapers main aim is to remove the settled sand, grit and suspended solids deposited at the bottom of settling tanks. The sludge formed by the solid materials in thebasin is conveyed to the center of the pool by means of centrally driven scrapers. The scrapers not only remove the sludge in the bottom but also the foam on the surface by passing it to the skim removal funnel.
The accumulated sludge can be removed withsuction pumps. The bridge feature differs according to the size and geometry ofthe pool.
